Great news for our Volunteers Official in Singapore. Our heartiest congratulations to Chin Foong Wang for winning the FIA Best Doctor of the Season 2021!!!!!!

This year, MSS submitted 3 medical candidates to the FIA Volunteers & Officials Awards for their exceptional contributions, not only to motorsports but also to the COVID situation in Singapore.

Below is part of Dr. Wang Chin Foong's write up.

"Chin Foong is extremely dedicated to his volunteer work, and is part of the medical team of senior officials who actively recruit, train and retrain the 120 pax strong medical team solely run by unpaid volunteers. He spent many hours drawing up training manuals, procedures, and training the medical officials in track crafts.

In 2020 and 2021, as Singapore was hit by COVID-19, he sacrifices his personal time away from his family choosing to answer the government's call when there is a shortage of trained medical personnel. Chin Foong took unpaid leave for many months from his work, and volunteer at local community facilities to take care of COVID patients. He was not afraid to risk his personal safety to take care of others and his actions are commendable."

To Chin Foong and all our medical volunteers & officials who are frontline staffs, our heartfelt thanks and deepest gratitude to our brothers and sisters for fighting the pandemic tirelessly and always keeping us safe.
